Founded in 1973, Opera Worcester has been presenting fully staged professional opera and other related musical and cultural activities here in Central Massachusetts continuously for more than 30 years.  Throughout those years, our loyal audiences have enjoyed a continuum of excellent performances.

We are a non-profit cultural organization located in Central Massachusetts in the city of Worcester, midway between Boston and Springfield.  Worcester, the second largest city in Massachusetts, is less than one hour's drive from Boston or Springfield, and just a few minutes more from Hartford, Connecticut; Northampton, Massachusetts; Nashua, New Hampshire; or Providence, Rhode Island.
